What a day! So after reviewing the final edits from Alp, I was finally ready to publish. It went fairly quickly on Amazon although I'm still waiting for it to be reviewed before it appears on the shelf. I will add a link once it's available.
As soon as I hit the Publish button, I was overwhelmed with all these feelings. I've loved reading since my first book which I believe was 'Fun With Dick and Jane' when I was four. I never thought I would ever write one myself. So clicking that Publish button was an unbelievable experience. I was overjoyed, scared, excited, nervous, happy ... well, just completely overwhelmed!
Above all, I was just grateful to Alp for encouraging me to start, encouraging me along the way and for spending so much time reviewing, offering suggestions and editing the story. Without him, it never would have happened. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you, Alp!!
He will be publishing it in The Carter Seagrove Book Boutique. Additionally, he is blogging about it to let everyone know. He mentioned interviewing me too which will be an interesting experience!
In order to allow everyone to choose how they want to download it, I've published it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords. I may be adding some other ebook retailers soon.
So far, only Smashwords has approved and put it on their site. Here is the link: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/476447
Over the next few days, I will likely be messing with this website, reviewing the published versions to make sure they look okay, and I'm sure checking to see if anyone has actually bought it!
I've already started my next story which is another romance. Currently titled 'The Interior Designer'. I'm excited to continue on this story and have already been swamped with scenes just waiting to be written. I've definitely been bitten by the writing bug!
